**Vacant North Bethesda Office Property Set for Conversion by New Owner**

JLL Capital Markets has announced the sale of a 222,000-square-foot office building located at 2101 E Jefferson Street in North Bethesda, Maryland. The property, which sits on a four-acre site, is currently vacant and was originally constructed in 1985.

A team led by Jim Meisel, Dave Baker, Andrew Weir, and Kevin Byrd represented the seller and secured the buyer, who plans to repurpose the building for non-office use.

Strategically positioned less than a mile from Pike & Rose — Montgomery County’s newest mixed-use development — the property is also within walking distance of the North Bethesda Metrorail station. This prime location played a role in attracting a variety of prospective buyers, including residential developers.

“JLL had very good interest in this asset from users and town home builders,” said Jim Meisel. “This continues a trend of converting vacant office buildings into alternative uses for the future and is the second such sale JLL has had on E Jefferson Street in North Bethesda.”
