Brookfield, DMB, and Common Bond Development are collaborating on the development of EastMarket, a new mixed-use retail center located near the Mesa Gateway Airport in Arizona. Positioned on the northeast corner of East Ray Road and South Ellsworth Road, the project will feature a blend of grocery, dining, multifamily housing, and retail spaces.

EastMarket is situated within Eastmark, a 3,200-acre master-planned community. Since 2013, DMB and Brookfield Residential have been jointly developing Eastmark, which includes 4 million square feet of commercial space and 14,000 entitled homes.

The first phase of EastMarket covers 6.6 acres and will be anchored by a 23,000-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market, scheduled to open in 2027. In addition to the Sprouts store, plans for the site include four additional retail buildings, a restaurant, and a multifamily residential component.
