SRS Real Estate Partners Facilitates $6.06M Ground Lease Sale of Wawa Property in New Jersey
SRS Real Estate Partners has announced the successful $6.06 million ground lease sale of a Wawa property located at 100 Egg Harbor Road in Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey.
Constructed in 2024, the 5,585-square-foot Wawa sits on a 2.61-acre parcel and operates under a 20-year corporate-guaranteed lease. The transaction was brokered by Patrick Nutt, Senior Managing Principal, and William Wamble, Executive Vice President & Principal of SRS Capital Markets, who are based in Florida. The seller was an East Coast-based developer, while the buyer, a private investor from New Jersey, completed the deal as part of a 1031 exchange.
“This property is strategically positioned on the border of New Jersey and Philadelphia, and is close to two colleges as well as the Deptford Mall, which comprises more than one million square feet,” said Nutt. “The Wawa brand continues to build a loyal customer base and expand its store presence, making this particular asset a strong, passive investment opportunity for the buyer.”
