**Second Phase of Peninsula Mixed-Use Development Tops Out in Hunts Point, Bronx**
Gilbane Development, Hudson Companies, MHANY Management Inc., and Broadway Builders have officially topped out Phase Two of The Peninsula – a transformative, 100% affordable mixed-use development in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the Bronx. Located along Spofford Avenue between Manida and Tiffany Streets, this $297 million project features two mid-rise buildings that will add 359 affordable housing units ranging in size from studios to four-bedroom apartments.
Phase Two builds upon the foundation laid by Phase One, which was completed in 2022. The first phase included 183 affordable housing units, cultural and retail spaces, and a 57,000-square-foot industrial building. Once fully completed with its third phase, The Peninsula will deliver a total of 740 affordable apartments to the community.
