TMEIC Corp. Americas, a Japanese-based manufacturer specializing in energy-related products, has officially relocated its U.S. headquarters from Virginia to Houston. The company now occupies the 10th floor of Eldridge Oaks, a 14-story office building located at 1080 Eldridge Parkway in Houston’s Energy Corridor.

TMEIC invested $3 million to renovate and customize 23,878 square feet of office space for its new headquarters. The company currently employs approximately 500 people in the Houston area.

In addition to the headquarters move, TMEIC is expanding its regional footprint with the development of a new manufacturing facility. The company recently broke ground on a 267,000-square-foot plant situated on a 20-acre site in Waller County. The new facility will produce uninterruptible power supplies and medium-voltage drives, serving industries such as data centers, oil and gas, and other energy sectors. TMEIC plans to invest a total of $65 million into the facility.

These initiatives highlight the company’s commitment to growing its operations in the Houston region, a strategic hub for energy innovation and infrastructure.
