Ability Housing, a nonprofit developer of affordable multifamily housing, has appointed Thomas J. Daly, Jr. as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). With more than 20 years of experience in the fields of housing finance and law, he is well-equipped to oversee the organization’s business operations as it expands its portfolio across multiple regions in Florida.
Prior to joining Ability Housing, Daly served as City of Jacksonville’s Chief for the Housing and Community Development Division where he was responsible for developing over 1,400 rental units within urban areas under his leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University; Master’s degree with concentration on Public Finance from Indiana University; and Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School Of Law. Additionally he is certified by National Development Council (NDC)as a Professional Developer & active member at both Jacksonville Bar Association & American Bar Association respectively .
