Sugar Land Town Square to Receive $12.5M Facelift

The Sugar Land Development Corporation and Sugar Land 4B Corporation have approved a $12.5 million investment to support a series of upgrades to Sugar Land Town Square. The funds will be allocated to enhance the area’s appeal for businesses, residents, and visitors and will support improvements across two commercial buildings and property-wide office spaces.

The breakdown of the planned upgrades includes:
– Property-wide office tenant improvements totaling $4.5 million
– Building B renovations estimated at $6 million, which will feature new communal office spaces, upgraded landscaping, and enhanced streetscapes
– Building H improvements amounting to $2 million, which will include updates to the building’s entry, lobby, and signage, a refreshed garden area, and new furniture

Originally opened in 2003, Sugar Land Town Square is a walkable mixed-use development located at the intersection of U.S. 59 and Highway 6. The district spans 223,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and offers 566,000 square feet of Class A office space, 167 condominiums, a full-service Marriott Hotel with a conference center, City Hall, and an expansive central plaza that serves as the heart of community events, including concerts, festivals, performances, and more.

The planned renovations are expected to further cement Sugar Land Town Square’s status as a premier destination for work, living, and leisure in the region.
