Lowes Foods Expands Presence in the Carolinas with New Stores and Remodels
Lowes Foods, the Winston-Salem-based grocer rooted in the Carolinas, is continuing its growth with new store locations and significant renovations in North Carolina and South Carolina.
In the fast-growing Triangle region of North Carolina, Lowes Foods is set to open two new locations. One store will be located in Wendell at the intersection of Wendell Falls Parkway and Eagle Rock Road, while another is planned for Fuquay-Varina at the southeast corner of Old Honeycutt Road and Purfoy Road.
Further expanding its footprint into South Carolina, Lowes Foods will convert an existing Kj’s Market in Johns Island into a full-service Lowes Foods store.
Alongside new store openings, the company is investing in upgrades to three of its existing stores in the Triangle area. Recent grand re-openings were celebrated at locations on 8440 Louisburg Road and 7281 Veterans Parkway (Highway 42). The Holly Springs store at 112 Bass Lake Road is scheduled for a re-grand opening on June 26.
These remodels feature updated interiors and enhancements to signature Lowes Foods experiences, including Boxcar Coffee, Sammy’s, the expanded Cheese Shoppe, and the Smokehouse—offering customers an elevated grocery shopping experience rooted in local flavor and community.
Lowes Foods continues to grow its brand by blending innovation with a hometown feel, reflecting the needs and tastes of its local communities.
