**Amazon to Build $51.5M Distribution Center in El Paso**

The City of El Paso has approved the construction of a new Amazon distribution center, a 160,000-square-foot facility valued at $51.5 million. The project will be located at 7850 Paseo Del Norte, in the city’s northwestern region, near Interstate 10 and the New Mexico state line.

VTRE Development, which owns the property, will oversee the project. The company has a history of working with major national tenants, including Amazon, Wayfair, and United Parcel Service (UPS).

The city sold the nearly 44-acre parcel of land to VTRE Development for $18.7 million. Once completed, this new distribution center will complement Amazon’s existing warehouse located in southeastern El Paso.
