Fifth Third Bank Relocates to Neuhoff District from Downtown Nashville Tower
Fifth Third Bank is set to leave its longstanding downtown Nashville headquarters for a new location in the emerging Neuhoff District. The move comes amid the sale of the current building that bears the bank’s name.
The bank originally moved into the 31-story tower at 424 Church Street in 2006. It will now transition from its 17,000-square-foot space to a new 20,000-square-foot office in the Neuhoff District. The lease deal was facilitated by CBRE, representing Fifth Third, while Stream Realty and Cushman & Wakefield represented the developer.
The Neuhoff District, which began its $550 million first phase rollout last year, spans nearly a million square feet of office and retail space and also features hundreds of residential units. The development includes a mix of office tenants, retail outlets, and restaurants, contributing to its growing appeal as a mixed-use destination.
Fifth Third Center at 424 Church Street, which opened in 1986, offers approximately 650,000 square feet of leasable space. The property is currently owned by Blackstone Real Estate, which acquired it in 2019 for $144.8 million.
This relocation marks a major shift for Fifth Third Bank in Music City, reinforcing the Neuhoff District’s status as an up-and-coming hub for work, life, and entertainment.
