CenterCal and DRA Advisors Acquire Longstanding Fig Garden Village in Fresno

CenterCal Properties, in partnership with DRA Advisors, has acquired Fig Garden Village, a well-established open-air retail destination located in Fresno. The purchase price remains undisclosed. The new ownership team plans to make strategic reinvestments aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience, introducing new retail and dining options, and preserving the center’s distinctive architectural charm.

“This acquisition represents more than a strategic investment — it’s an opportunity to enrich a beloved community destination,” said Jean Paul Wardy, CEO of CenterCal Properties. “Together with DRA Advisors, we plan to elevate the experience at Fig Garden Village, while honoring its deep roots in the community.”

Spanning nearly 300,000 square feet, Fig Garden Village features a curated mix of national, regional, and local retailers. It is home to the Fresno market’s only Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, and Banana Republic, in addition to other well-known names such as lululemon, Whole Foods Market, Anthropologie, Madewell, and Paper Source.

Originally developed in 1956, Fig Garden Village holds the distinction of being Fresno’s first regional shopping center. With this acquisition, CenterCal and DRA Advisors aim to revitalize and further solidify the center’s role as a premier retail destination in the region.
