**Webstar Technology Group Affiliate Acquires and Plans Redevelopment of 3M SF Mixed-Use Project in Downtown Atlanta**
A Webstar Technology Group affiliate has acquired The Forge Project, a fully entitled and shovel-ready mixed-use development in the Castleberry Hill district of Downtown Atlanta. The project spans over 3 million square feet and is set to undergo a major redevelopment.
The Forge development will include a diverse range of components such as residential units, boutique and condominium hotel rooms, flexible space, a sports entertainment complex, restaurants, retail offerings, and a cultural center. Strategically situated within the SPI-1 SA1 zoning corridor, the location benefits from the highest allowable density in the city.
Webstar Technology Group has also named Nelson Worldwide as the lead architect for The Forge Project. Nelson was previously selected for Webstar’s $650 million Bear Village Resort development in Commerce, Georgia. Their role has now expanded to include design oversight for The Forge.
In a forward-looking move, Webstar plans to tokenize The Forge Project by utilizing blockchain technology. Through its digital securities offering, investors will be able to purchase fractional ownership in the project via dividend-paying digital tokens. This approach aims to provide increased liquidity and transparency in commercial real estate investment.
The redevelopment of The Forge marks another bold step in redefining Downtown Atlanta’s urban landscape while integrating next-generation investment opportunities.
