Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) has announced the opening of a new office in Tampa. Francesco Spagna and Brian Pailes will lead SGH’s operations in building enclosure and structural mechanics consulting. Spagna, who has been with SGH for nearly 30 years and previously worked in the Boston area, brings global expertise with a focus on bridges and port facilities. He joined the Tampa team in 2024.

Lindsey Alexander has joined Atlantic Retail’s West Palm Beach office as Vice President. With over 25 years of experience, Alexander has a strong record in leasing for ground-up developments, specialty and value-add projects, and redevelopments. She is also known for her consulting work with new retail developments and leasing at lifestyle shopping centers for both REITs and private landlords.

Trademark Property Company is revitalizing Legacy Place, a lifestyle center in Palm Beach Gardens. New tenants joining the 18,000-square-foot center include EōS Fitness, Yoga Joint, Jet Set Pilates, Cabinet IQ of Palm Beach, and Tampa General Hospital Cancer. The redeveloped center is expected to open in 2026.

H Mart, a popular Asian grocery chain, is making its debut in the Tampa Bay area with a location near Raymond James Stadium. The store will occupy a 46,000-square-foot space in the Horizon Park Shopping Center, located at 3908 W. Hillsborough Avenue. Plans are currently underway for interior demolition to begin.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have unveiled plans for a $43 million renovation of EverBank Stadium. The project aims to modernize the facility, increase its base capacity to more than 63,000 with the potential to expand up to 71,500 for college football events, and enhance the experience for concerts with upgraded lighting and digital features. A key element of the new design is a 70% shade canopy, reinforcing the team’s long-term commitment to Jacksonville.
