**$2B River Central Project Eyes Groundbreaking Next Year**

River Central, a $2 billion mixed-use development near the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, is gearing up to potentially break ground next year. The project’s progress hinges on securing federal permits relating to wetlands that run through the site—a common challenge in large-scale land development.

The expansive River Central development is expected to feature a wide range of components, including:

– A 140-room hotel
– 120,000 square feet of office space
– A 56,000-square-foot concert venue
– 60,000 square feet of retail
– 125 townhomes
– 1,200 apartments
– 50 acres of open space

Straddling the cities of Fort Worth and Grand Prairie, River Central has already received zoning approvals from both municipalities.

Hasen Design Build & Development is serving as the managing partner for the project. Once construction begins, the firm will lead multiple phases of the development, focusing on delivering the apartments, higher-density townhomes, and mixed-use retail components.

The River Central project is expected to become a major destination in the region, blending residential, commercial, and recreational space in a dynamic and strategically located setting.
