**New 79-Room Hotel Proposed for Dania Beach Site**

A small, aging motel in Dania Beach could soon make way for a significantly larger and more modern hotel. The Stay Inn Motel, a 12-room property built in 1949, may be demolished to make space for a new 79-room development. The proposed hotel would span approximately 79,000 square feet and is planned for the .67-acre site located at 380 S. Federal Highway, just off U.S. Highway 1.

Hasi Hasam, who purchased the property in 2015 for $695,000, is currently seeking zoning approvals to move forward with the project. The modern hospitality development would be designed by Studio Patrick Soares, a design firm based in Coconut Creek.

In addition to the increased number of rooms, the hotel would feature a rooftop pool, deck, and outdoor lounge, enhancing the guest experience with elevated amenities.

Dania Beach, a city of approximately 31,000 residents located adjacent to Hollywood, Florida, is known locally for its abundance of antique shops and its growing interest in redevelopment and revitalization.

This proposed project signals another step forward in the transformation of Dania Beach’s hospitality landscape.
