AJ Capital Unveils Plans for Belle Meade Redevelopment in Nashville

In 2023, AJ Capital Partners acquired Belle Meade Plaza at 4500 Harding Pike in Nashville for $87 million. The company has since moved forward with demolishing the existing retail center, which was formerly anchored by Kroger, and is preparing to break ground on the site’s first major redevelopment project.

The redevelopment will be a large-scale, mixed-use venture taking shape in phases. The initial phase includes the construction of 80 luxury residences, slated for completion by late 2027. The project will also feature rental apartments, 120 hotel rooms, and a new retail center comprised of five buildings encompassing at least 47,800 square feet of retail space.

According to AJ Capital, the entire development will span approximately 780,000 square feet. It is envisioned as a walkable community incorporating storefronts, restaurants, condominiums, and rental housing — all within an integrated, prime location.

AJ Capital Partners currently manages over $5.4 billion in real estate investments across markets in the United States and the United Kingdom. The Belle Meade project marks a significant addition to the company’s growing portfolio of transformative urban developments.
