**Newmark Announces Major Appointment**
Newmark has hired Mark Repstad as Executive Managing Director, based in the Downtown Los Angeles office. Over the course of his career, Repstad has closed more than 650 transactions, encompassing 41.4 million square feet and totaling more than $2.2 billion in volume. He will be focused on expanding the firm’s industrial service offerings, targeting markets across Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
**CBRE Adds Industry Expert to National Partners Team**
Brian Russell has joined CBRE’s National Partners Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets team in Southern California as Executive Vice President. Previously with Eastdil Secured, Russell led the Southern California Life Science team as a Managing Director. He brings 13 years of experience in commercial real estate, having worked on over $20 billion in deals across industrial, office, life Sciences, multifamily, land, and mixed-use asset types.
**Merchants Capital Expands West**
Merchants Capital has appointed Pete Nichol as Senior Vice President of Originations to lead its expansion on the West Coast. Based in San Francisco, Nichol will work alongside long-time collaborators Andrew Weil and Justin Ginsberg, with whom he has shared a professional relationship spanning more than 20 years.
**Krise Returns to Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation**
Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) announced the return of Kristopher Krise to its Sacramento office, where he will focus on commercial debt and equity financing. Krise began his commercial real estate career at MMCC in 2013 in the Encino office, where he worked in both execution and originations until 2018.
**McClellan Park Promotes Jennifer Lewis**
Jennifer Lewis has been promoted to Vice President of Leasing and Property Management at McClellan Park. In her new role, she will oversee leasing activities across the 3,000-acre master-planned campus in Sacramento, manage the airfield property portfolio, and support new development initiatives within the park.
**David A. Prior Honored for 46 Years at The Klabin Company**
The Klabin Company is celebrating David A. Prior, SIOR, Senior Managing Principal and the firm’s largest shareholder, on his 46th anniversary. Prior joined the firm on March 5, 1979, after being introduced to company founder Stuart Klabin while studying economics at UCLA.
