**Suncadia Resort Community Announces $40 Million Expansion**
Suncadia, a year-round mountain resort community located approximately 80 miles east of Seattle, has unveiled plans for a $40 million development that will introduce a new residential and retail village named “Suncadia Social.”
The 11-acre expansion will feature a vibrant mix of townhomes, single-family homes, and 16,500 square feet of retail space, including a boutique grocery store. This milestone initiative comes as Suncadia commemorates its 25th anniversary.
“As we celebrate Suncadia’s 25th anniversary, these transformative projects will enhance our community and create vibrant new spaces for our residents and guests,” said Mark Thorne, Managing Director at Suncadia. “Our partnership with our investors, along with the commitment from our valued homeowner partners in The Lodge, is pivotal in realizing these ambitious plans.”
Suncadia Social is designed to be a dynamic hub featuring home goods stores, outdoor gear shops, restaurants, a wine bar, and a coffee shop. To complement the retail offerings, the residential portion—The Residences at Suncadia Social—will include a collection of contemporary mountain bungalows and rowhouses, adding to the resort’s signature Pacific Northwest charm.
This expansion underscores Suncadia’s commitment to growth and community enrichment while preserving the natural beauty and lifestyle that have drawn residents and visitors to the area over the past two and a half decades.
