**Haussmann Development Launches Leasing at The Eve in Crown Heights**

Haussmann Development has officially launched leasing at The Eve, a newly constructed seven-story mixed-income residential building located at 827 Sterling Place in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood. The project brings a total of 76 new apartments to the area, including 23 affordable units that were offered through a housing lottery.

“Our city faces a housing crisis that necessitates building versions of The Eve in every neighborhood,” said Josef Goodman, Principal at Haussmann Development. “We need more housing that is inclusive, sustainable, and designed to strengthen our communities.”

Beyond its commitment to affordability, The Eve is also notable for its sustainability features. The building was constructed as a fully electric facility, eliminating the use of on-site fossil fuels. It incorporates high-efficiency electric systems for heating, cooling, water heating, and cooking, aimed at improving indoor air quality and ensuring long-term energy efficiency.

The Eve represents a step forward in sustainable and inclusive urban development as Crown Heights continues to evolve into one of Brooklyn’s dynamic residential communities.
