**Kōz Development and MSquared Unveil New Housing Project in Lynnwood**
Kōz Development and MSquared, in collaboration with Lynnwood Mayor Christine Frizzell and other city officials, recently celebrated the grand opening of Kōz on Alderwood Mall Blvd—a 199-unit, mixed-income, transit-oriented residential development in the Greater Seattle area.
The $54 million project is strategically located next to the newly opened Lynnwood Transit Center, which serves as the northern terminus of the Sound Transit Link light rail extension, providing a direct connection to downtown Seattle. The ribbon-cutting ceremony officially marked the completion and commencement of operations for the new development.
Financing for the project included $35 million in debt from Coastal Community Bank, $13 million in equity provided by MSquared, and an additional $6 million in equity from Kōz Development investors.
Kōz on Alderwood is part of the broader Lynwood City Center redevelopment initiative. The revitalization plan envisions the construction of 1,900 residential units, over 500,000 square feet of office space, and 200,000 square feet of retail space, transforming the area into a vibrant urban hub.
This milestone project underscores Kōz Development and MSquared’s commitment to addressing housing needs while promoting transit-oriented development in the Pacific Northwest.
