### Santander Renews U.S. Headquarters Lease at 437 Madison Avenue

Sage, a privately held commercial real estate services firm that manages and leases over 2.5 million square feet of Class A office space in New York City, has announced a lease renewal with Santander Group for its U.S. headquarters. The renewed lease spans 191,667 square feet, covering floors 5 through 10 at 437 Madison Avenue. The agreement extends the bank’s current lease for an additional seven years, with an option for further renewal.

“We’re excited to see Santander not only continue to call 437 Madison Avenue their home in the U.S., but also extend their presence here with Sage,” said Jonathan Iger, CEO and President of Sage.

Michael Lenchner, Sage’s Executive Vice President and Director of Leasing, highlighted the significance of the deal, stating, “This deal, one of the largest seen in the market this year, shows the resurgence of Manhattan’s commercial real estate market.”

Sage was represented in-house by Lenchner and Jack Brennan, while Santander was represented by a Savills team that included Mitti Liebersohn, Arthur Mirante, and Anna Erickson.
