### Historic Beaumont Library Undergoes Renovation and Expansion

C.W. Driver Companies has officially broken ground on a $15-million renovation and expansion of the historic Beaumont Carnegie Library. Originally constructed in 1914, the library will be upgraded to meet modern seismic, accessibility, and safety standards while incorporating a 9,100-square-foot addition.

Located at 125 E. 8th St. in Beaumont, the project will be completed in two phases to ensure continuous access for the community throughout construction. Once completed in 2026, the revitalized 20,700-square-foot facility will feature modernized reading spaces, enhanced technology, and expanded programming areas to better serve the growing Beaumont community.

“The Beaumont Carnegie Library has been a pillar of this community for over a century, and we are honored to help preserve its history while expanding its impact,” said Tom Jones, project executive at C.W. Driver Companies. “This project is a testament to the city’s dedication to education and community engagement, and we’re excited to bring this vision to life.”
