Regency Centers Corp. has purchased the Brentwood Place Shopping Center for $118.5 million. According to the *Nashville Business Journal*, the property has seen its value nearly double since Swift Creek Holdings acquired it for $60.2 million in 2007.
Located at 330 Franklin Road, Brentwood Place Shopping Center spans 320,000 square feet and houses major retailers such as Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Total Wine, and Golf Galaxy. The center maintains a 95% occupancy rate and attracts approximately 4.3 million visitors annually. Additionally, it sits adjacent to the future Vanderbilt Medical Campus, which will encompass 350,000 square feet upon completion.
Regency Centers, a Jacksonville, Florida-based company specializing in the ownership, operation, and development of shopping centers in suburban markets, strengthens its Nashville-area presence with this acquisition. The company already owns three grocery-anchored shopping centers in Franklin, Hermitage, and Brentwood.
