### Simon Property Group’s Brea Mall Expands with New Tenants and Residential Units

Brea Mall, owned by Simon Property Group, is undergoing a significant transformation with the addition of nine new tenants, including Uniqlo and Rivian, along with 380 apartment units. Additionally, existing tenants Pottery Barn and Lululemon are relocating and expanding within the shopping center, according to a recent report from the *Los Angeles Business Times*.

This expansion is part of a 119,000-square-foot redevelopment project, which involves the construction of residential units on the site of a former Sears store. The project is expected to be completed this spring.

Recently, the mall has welcomed several new businesses, including fashion retailer Zara, fitness and wellness center Life Time, Asian restaurant Din Tai Fung, and Italian eatery North Italia. Nate Weirbach, director of marketing and business development at Brea Mall, stated, “The addition of these exciting brands continues to show incredible momentum around Brea Mall’s comprehensive transformation. We look forward to adding even more amenities in the future.”

Originally opening in 1977, the 1.28-million-square-foot shopping center continues to evolve to meet modern consumer demands.
