### Riverwalk Hotel Completes $11M Makeover

The former Wyndham Garden Inn along the San Antonio River has undergone a significant renovation and rebranding.

The $11 million project includes a new name and affiliation for the downtown property, now known as **Sol Cypress Hotel**, which will be part of the Tribute Portfolio by **Marriott**. The revamped 131-room hotel is set to officially reopen on **March 19**, offering new amenities such as a signature restaurant and a café.

The hotel is owned by **Paradigm Management of San Antonio**, with the redevelopment project led by **San Antonio’s DTM Architects** and **Los Angeles-based KNA Design**.

According to the *San Antonio Business Journal*, the property will leverage its **4,000+ square feet of meeting and banquet space** to attract San Antonio’s convention business. Additionally, a newly introduced **Treehouse venue** will provide guests with a unique perspective of the river and the city’s downtown skyline.

Tribute Portfolio Hotels currently has **90 properties across North America** and is expanding globally with locations in **Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Central and South America**.
