FC Dallas has received permits to begin the demolition and redevelopment of the east side of Toyota Stadium in Frisco. The club aims to complete the eastside project in time for the 2026 World Cup.

The stadium will undergo $182 million in upgrades, including the addition of canopies for shade, expanded seating through the reconstruction of the underutilized north end, and enhanced clubs and suites.

Beyond the stadium renovations, the team’s owner, Hunt Sports Group, envisions a broader sports and entertainment district featuring over 1 million square feet of office space, a 200-room hotel, and a 200-unit multifamily tower.

Demolition is expected to take six to eight weeks, with construction set to begin this summer. FC Dallas has partnered with HKS Architects for the design and Moss and Associates LLC for construction.
