#### **Newmark Group Expands Healthcare Capital Markets Team**
Newmark Group, Inc. has appointed industry expert Justin Shepherd as co-head and vice chairman of its U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets practice. Based in Irvine, Shepherd will lead alongside co-heads and vice chairmen Ben Appel and Jay Miele, as well as Vice Chairman and Head of Healthcare Debt John Nero.
#### **Eagle Real Estate Group Launches Affiliate Company**
Randy Friend, a longtime multifamily real estate executive and founder of Eagle Real Estate Group, has launched a new affiliate company, Eagle Partners. Co-founders of the new venture include Taylor Friend, Shahny Lutfeali, and Clay Friend. With a career spanning the acquisition and development of approximately 6,000 multifamily units, Randy Friend will serve as chairman of Eagle Partners.
#### **TMG Partners Announces Executive Promotions**
Michael Covarrubias, chairman and CEO of TMG Partners—one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest mixed-use property developers—announced three key executive promotions. Matt Field, formerly co-CEO, has been named vice chairman. Ben Kochalski, previously regional partner, has been promoted to president and CIO. Additionally, Ken Dupee, formerly managing director of development, is now managing director of real estate.
#### **Storm Properties Welcomes New Land Acquisitions Manager**
Storm Properties Inc., a developer, owner, and manager of residential, industrial, and commercial properties, has appointed Bryan Leon as land acquisitions manager. Leon brings over four years of experience in real estate acquisitions and asset management, with expertise in underwriting, entitlements, and financing.
#### **Novogradac Appoints Chief Public Policy Officer**
National accounting and consulting firm Novogradac has promoted Peter Lawrence to chief public policy officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s public policy department, develop and execute its public policy strategy, and provide policy insights and guidance to leadership.
#### **Wexford Science & Technology Expands Team for Aggie Square**
Wexford Science & Technology has hired Monique Brown as manager of programs and partnerships for Aggie Square, a two-million-square-foot joint venture between UC Davis, Wexford, and the city of Sacramento. Brown was previously the managing director for Growth Factory, a Rocklin-based nonprofit startup accelerator, which she co-founded.
#### **Procore Technologies CEO Transition**
Tooey Courtemanche, founder, president, and CEO of Procore Technologies, Inc., has announced plans to transition to the role of executive chairman upon the appointment of a successor. Procore’s board of directors will conduct a comprehensive search for the next CEO.
