**Jason Lee and Lance Lawson Join Cushman & Wakefield**
Jason Lee, MAI, and Lance Lawson, MAI, have joined the Valuation & Advisory Property Tax Agency Group at Cushman & Wakefield. They will be based in the firm’s Austin, Texas office. Both professionals previously worked at Morrison & Head before their transition to tax services firm Ryan, which acquired M&H in December 2023.
**Seven Hills Realty Trust Closes $18.5M Loan for Student Housing in Waco**
Seven Hills Realty Trust has closed an $18.5 million first mortgage floating rate bridge loan to refinance LL Sams, a 271-bed student housing property adjacent to Baylor University in Waco, Texas. The loan has a three-year initial term with two optional one-year extensions. Tremont Realty Capital, SEVN’s manager, facilitated the transaction with JLL, which advised Shore to Shore Properties, Inc., the project’s sponsor.
**RangeWater and CenterSquare Acquire Residential Community in Frisco**
RangeWater Real Estate, in partnership with equity firm CenterSquare Investment Management, has acquired a residential community in the Frisco submarket of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. The joint venture purchased Sorrel Phillips Creek Ranch, located at 5050 Farm To Market Road 423 in Frisco, in an off-market transaction. The purchase price was not disclosed.
**Newcor Facilitates 22-Acre Land Acquisition in Montgomery**
Newcor represented Milstead PC Investments in acquiring a 22-acre tract at the southwest corner of McCaleb Road and Chapel Road in Montgomery, Texas. Newcor’s David Alexander and Josh Cheatham negotiated the deal on behalf of Ken Milstead of Milstead PC Investments. There are no immediate development plans for the site.
**Next Health Plans Expansion Into Houston**
Next Health has announced a three-unit expansion in Houston through an area development agreement. The first location is expected to open in late 2025. The expansion will bring Next Health’s proactive healthcare services—including biomarker testing and expert provider partnerships—to the Houston market.
