### Avison Young Launches U.S. Investment Sales Team Led by James Nelson
Avison Young has announced the establishment of its U.S. Investment Sales platform (USIS), focusing on key real estate sectors, including multifamily, office, retail, and development. This new initiative aims to enhance investment sales efforts across major U.S. markets.
Leading this national expansion is James Nelson, who will extend his current role as head of Investment Sales in the New York Tristate area to oversee U.S. Investment Sales.
“We see tremendous opportunity and momentum, especially in office, retail, multifamily, and development transactions across major U.S. cities,” said Nelson. “Our U.S. Investment Sales team is well-positioned to expand client relationships and identify new business opportunities for Avison Young on a cohesive national scale.”
As part of the platform’s development, Avison Young has also promoted two key team members. Erik Edeen has been appointed senior director and principal of U.S. Investment Sales, where he will focus on both internal and external initiatives. Additionally, Traci Bidinger has been promoted to director of marketing for Capital Markets, with a focus on enhancing marketing efforts at both the client and asset levels.
