### Badiee Development Secures 119,044-Square-Foot Industrial Lease in Otay Mesa

Colliers has successfully arranged the lease of a 119,044-square-foot industrial space in Building 2 at Sanyo Logistics Center, located at 9350 Airway Road in San Diego’s Otay Mesa submarket. This transaction marks the largest new lease in terms of size and deal value in South County over the past 12 months. The property is owned and operated by an affiliate of Badiee Development.

Executives Mark Lewkowitz and Chris Holder, along with Associate Vice President Will Holder of Colliers, brokered the deal on behalf of Badiee Development. The team has led the project’s marketing efforts since its completion in 2020. Representing the tenant, Brokerage & Logistics Solutions, Inc., were Senior Vice President Jeff Saywitz and Michael Mossmer of VOIT Real Estate Services.

Lewkowitz emphasized the desirability of Class A buildings in prime locations, stating, “Class A buildings such as this, within walking distance to the border and with superior dock counts, will always be highly valued by customs brokers and third-party logistics providers. We are so pleased with the successful outcome and thank the Badiee team for their continued trust and partnership.”

This lease reflects the ongoing demand for high-quality industrial space in Otay Mesa, further reinforcing the area’s status as a logistics and distribution hub.
