### F.H. Paschen Breaks Ground on Senior Apartments in Franklin Park

Contractor F.H. Paschen and developer Evergreen Real Estate Group have officially broken ground on a new senior housing development and community center in Franklin Park, Illinois.

The project will feature an 80-unit, four-story residential building designed to accommodate local seniors. Complementing the apartments, the new Carl Fiorito Senior Center—a one-story community center—will provide a range of programs, activities, and services for residents.

Designed by Weese Langley Klein Architects, the development is expected to open in the summer of 2026. Evergreen Real Estate Group will also serve as the property manager.

The project is backed by multiple financing sources, including the Illinois Housing Development Authority, Bank of America, Hudson Housing, Leyden Township, and the Cook County Department of Planning and Development. Mesirow Financial participated in the underwriting syndicate for the IHDA financing and served as the lead underwriter.
