**Former Berkeley College Properties in White Plains to Be Converted into Condominiums**
RM Friedland has successfully arranged the sale of 99 Church Street and the adjacent 6 Cottage Place on behalf of Berkeley College. These properties, which were originally part of the college’s downtown White Plains campus, were placed on the market following Berkeley College’s decision to consolidate its operations in New York City and New Jersey in 2021.
Recognized for its prime location and adaptable structures, the site includes a 110,000-square-foot, four-story office building at 99 Church Street and a 55-unit, six-story dormitory at 6 Cottage Place, spanning nearly one acre of land. Initially envisioned as a mixed-use development integrating rental and for-sale units, the plan was later refined by the developer, Wilder Balter Partners, to convert the entire property into for-sale condominiums.
John Barrett, Chris O’Callaghan, and Carmen Bauman of RM Friedland exclusively represented the seller, Berkeley College, and facilitated the transaction with the buyer.
