### New City Unveils Neuhoff’s Next Phase
The now-thriving Neuhoff District, once a former meat packing plant, has been transformed into a lively mixed-use development featuring offices, retail spaces, and hundreds of apartments. Located along East Germantown’s riverfront, the first phase of the project was completed at a cost of $550 million, according to the *Nashville Business Journal*.
**New City Properties** is now moving forward with the second phase of the Neuhoff District, which will introduce additional apartments, office space, and retail establishments.
This phase of development will take place at **1324 Second Ave. N**, where an existing building will be converted into retail space. Additionally, plans include the construction of a seven-story office building and a six-story residential building housing **319 apartment units**.
New City Properties acquired the **4.77-acre** site for this expansion in 2019 for **$26.25 million**. Further financial backing for the project includes **$275 million** from Cousins Properties Inc. and funding support from JP Morgan, which is contributing half of the equity. JE Dunn Construction has been selected as the general contractor for the project.
This next phase marks another major milestone in the revitalization of the Neuhoff District, enhancing Nashville’s urban landscape with new residences, workspaces, and retail experiences.
