### Newmark Expands Lease at 125 Park Avenue, Strengthening Presence in Midtown Manhattan

Newmark has signed a 15-year lease renewal and expansion at SL Green Realty Corp.’s 125 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, increasing its space from 144,418 square feet to a total of 184,239 square feet. The commercial real estate services firm was represented in-house by Jason Perla, Brian Waterman, David Waterman, and Matthew Schreiner.

“We are pleased to extend our valued relationship with Newmark,” said Steven Durels, Executive Vice President and Director of Leasing and Real Property at SL Green. “This is another example of the continued strength of the Midtown Manhattan office market, which is showing significant tenant demand for high-quality space near Grand Central Terminal.”

125 Park Avenue is currently more than 99% leased as SL Green moves forward with a lobby redesign and the restoration of the building’s entrance to its original 1923 design. The building, a New York City landmark, has been recognized for its architectural significance and contribution to the character of Midtown East.
