### Bushrod Investments and Birchwood Capital Partners Acquire Site for Senior Living Development in Baltimore
Bushrod Investments and Birchwood Capital Partners have acquired a 31-acre site in northern Baltimore County, approved for the development of an age-restricted community.
The project, known as **The Heights at Hunt Valley**, will include 52 villa-style homes and a 158,000-square-foot assisted living facility. Site work has already begun at 180 Sparks Valley Road, just north of Hunt Valley Towne Centre. A national homebuilder is set to begin delivering residential units next year, and the development team is in the final stages of securing an operator for the assisted living component.
**”The Heights at Hunt Valley is being developed in direct response to the growing demand for age-restricted communities and is specifically designed to meet the residential needs of active seniors,”** said David Gildea, Principal of Bushrod Investments. The development will offer four villa designs, ranging from approximately 2,100 to 3,200 square feet. Construction on the assisted living site is also expected to begin next year.
