**Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Secures Full-Building Lease at IQHQ’s Elco Yards**
IQHQ, Inc. has finalized a 225,000-square-foot lease with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) at its Elco Yards district in Redwood City. CZI will fully occupy The Shop, one of four buildings at Elco Yards, as part of its future work in science.
Elco Yards is a mixed-use development project that began construction in 2021. The site features four buildings offering lab, office, and retail space, with phased deliveries scheduled between mid-2025 and 2026. The project is currently more than 30% pre-leased, with CZI expected to take occupancy in 2027. Cushman & Wakefield’s Ben Paul oversees office leasing for the development.
