### Apple Plans AI Server Factory in Texas as Part of $500 Billion U.S. Investment
Apple has announced plans to open a new artificial intelligence server manufacturing facility in Texas as part of a broader $500 billion investment in the United States.
The technology giant will collaborate with partners to develop a 250,000-square-foot facility in Houston, dedicated to producing servers for Apple Intelligence, its AI-powered personal assistant for iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers.
According to reports, the new factory is scheduled to begin operations in 2026 and will be a key component of Apple’s long-term expansion efforts. Alongside this initiative, the company intends to hire approximately 20,000 new employees across the U.S., with a focus on research and development, silicon engineering, software development, and AI and machine learning.
“We are bullish on the future of American innovation, and we’re proud to build on our long-standing U.S. investments with this $500 billion commitment to our country’s future,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.
