### Notorious Aurora Apartment Complex Shuttered
The troubled Edge at Lowry apartment complex in **Aurora** has officially been shut down. The property is now empty, with boarded-up windows and all residents relocated. Although the complex contained only 23 units, reports indicated that more than 100 people had been living there.
Located near 12th Avenue and Dallas Street, the complex gained national attention after a viral video showed armed men entering one of the apartments. That same day, a fatal shooting occurred on the premises.
Local reports described severe damage inside the apartments, including holes in the walls and floors, along with exposed electric wiring hanging from ceilings. In response, city officials shut down the complex and assisted tenants in finding new housing.
CBZ Management, the property owner, attributed the deteriorating conditions to alleged gang activity. However, the City of Aurora holds CBZ responsible and has launched a lawsuit to recover the costs associated with closing the complex.
