Greystar and Consigli recently celebrated the topping-out of 74M, a 17-story, 465,000-square foot life science building in Somerville’s Assembly Square district. The event was attended by Somerville Mayor Katjana Ballantyne.
74M is designed to be a purpose built lab development with an aim for LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum WiredScore Platinum and SmartScore certification. It will also feature amenities such as rooftop terrace, conference rooms health & wellness center ground floor retail space and dedicated bicycle storage with an expected delivery date of Spring 2024. This new development will serve as a link between the Assembly Square neighborhood and East Somerville neighborhoods when completed. Additionally Greystar’s 74M project includes plans for construction of a new neighborhood park located south at 0 Kensington Avenue .
