Elgin-based global construction technology company, Anguleris, has recently acquired Concora Spec – formerly known as SmartBIM. This acquisition will bring together the teams, technology and products of both companies under the Anguleris brand. As a result, this move further solidifies Anguleris’s position as a leader in BIM and specification solutions on a global scale.
According to Benjamin Glunz – Founder and CEO of Anguleris – both companies have been dedicated to innovation in building product specification for over ten years. With Concora’s technology now integrated into their unified construction marketing suite, there is immense potential for growth within the industry.
This latest acquisition adds to an already diverse portfolio of construction technology platforms owned by Anguleris. These include BIMsmith – an online platform that provides product research tools and access to BIM content for building professionals. The purchase of Concora marks the third acquisition made by Anguleris since 2023 when they first acquired Modlar followed by ClubDesign in 2024.
