A new $850 million project in downtown Miami, called The James Hotel & Residences Downtown Miami, has been announced by Mint Developers, Sonesta International Hotels Corp., and AD1. This 82-story tower will be the city’s tallest and will include 336 furnished residences and 200 hotel rooms.
Construction is set to begin in the first quarter of 2026 with a completion date of early 2028. Residential sales are expected to launch in the second quarter of this year.
The development will offer residents and hotel guests access to luxurious amenities such as a spa, private cabanas with plunge pools, snow and rain rooms, and onsite dining options. One notable feature is an elevated luxury bar that boasts the highest elevation in all of the Americas. Additionally, there will be a four-story private club exclusively for members staying at The James Hotel.
This exciting new venture was recently announced on Connect CRE’s website.
