Premier Design + Build Group has successfully finished the construction of Underground Devices’ new headquarters in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The 106,920-square-foot facility includes extensive renovations to both office and warehouse spaces. Underground Devices, Inc., a leading manufacturer of duct spacers and nonmetallic manhole cable racks for underground power and communications installation, will now call this state-of-the-art building their home.
According to Senior Project Manager Bill Malarski, minimizing disruption to Underground Devices’ manufacturing was a top priority during the project. To achieve this goal, Premier focused on delivering a fully operational factory space as quickly as possible while simultaneously working on the office area.
To ensure smooth operations once machinery was moved from their previous facility into the new one, Premier’s team synchronized the installation of upgraded electrical panels within the factory space. Once production was up and running smoothly in its new location,
Premier then shifted its focus onto designing personalized office spaces with unique elements for each individual employee at Underground Devices.
