"Nashville Senior Housing Project Secures $100M in Investor Funding"

The Northview Housing Development, a 254-unit affordable senior housing community in Nashville, is set to begin construction thanks to the combined efforts of The Clear Blue Co., Urban Campus and Core, and Born Again Church. With over $100 million raised from various sources, including a $19 million loan from Amazon’s Housing Equity Fund, the project is expected to be completed by December 2026.

Located at 876 W. Trinity Lane on Born Again Church’s campus in the Haynes-Trinity neighborhood just outside Nashville, Northview Housing will cater specifically to seniors earning between 40 and 80 percent of the area median income. STG Design and Thomas & Hutton have been chosen as main architects for this development while Bacar Constructors will serve as general contractor.

Funding for this project includes $43.9 million in tax-credit equity and $53 million in multifamily tax-exempt bonds provided by The Tennessee Housing Development Agency. Upon completion, residents can look forward to common-area amenities such as a fitness center, rooftop deck with restaurants offering scenic views of Nashville’s skyline , health clinic services , pharmacy access , salon facilities walking trails, and recreational spaces . This much-needed affordable housing option for seniors has been made possible through collaboration between investors who share a vision for improving communities through responsible development projects like Northview Housing.
