According to a report by Community Impact, Costco has revealed its plans to open a new warehouse store in New Braunfels. The company has selected a site for the store at the southeast corner of Kohlenberg Road and I-35 within the 1,888-acre Mayfair development. This mixed-use community is located in New Braunfels’ extraterritorial jurisdiction.
The construction cost for this project is estimated at $33.8 million and public filings indicate that construction will begin on September 18 with an expected completion date of March 19, 2026. The new location will be situated at 330 Addstine Lane and will span over an impressive area of 158,000 square feet with its own fuel station.
As one of the top three largest retailers globally, Costco currently operates over six hundred stores across the United States and nearly nine hundred worldwide.
