DB2RE, a real estate brokerage firm, successfully facilitated the purchase of a 14-acre property in Little Elm, Texas by Kroger from local investment company Dollar-Flowers Realty Partners. The site is situated at the intersection of US 380 and FM 2931 in Little Elm, which is located north of Dallas.
Davidson Bogel’s team consisting of Edward Bogel, Ryan Turner and David Davidson Jr. represented Kroger in this transaction while Stewart Flowers represented Dollar-Flowers internally.
This acquisition by Kroger comes after Weber & Co.’s announcement last year that they had purchased 22 acres at the same intersection to develop a retail center called Bates Towne Crossing with Target as its anchor store spanning over an area of 225,000 square feet.
GBT also announced their plans earlier this year to build a shopping center on the northeast corner of the intersection anchored by Sprouts grocery store.
HEB owns land directly west from where Target will be built but has not disclosed any timeline for development yet. This news was originally published on Connect CRE.
