Wells Fargo recently held a grand opening event to celebrate the launch of its first-ever HOPE Inside Center retail bank branch in Chicago. The new 4,584-square-foot branch is located at 400 W Division St. in the Old Town neighborhood and is part of Wells Fargo’s expansion network.
In addition to this new location, Wells Fargo also opened a River North bank branch last year as part of their plan to increase their presence in Chicago from seven branches to approximately 30 over the next few years. This expansion is part of the company’s commitment of $175 million towards growth and development in the region, which will create nearly 200 job opportunities.
The HOPE Inside Centers are strategically placed within diverse neighborhoods with low- and moderate-income populations. These centers offer valuable resources such as financial education workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions for individuals seeking assistance with managing their finances. Matt Ickes, Regional Executive at Wells Fargo expressed excitement about this milestone for the company stating that “This marks an important moment for us as we open another location dedicated to serving both businesses and customers in Chicago.”
