Woods Capital is revamping Bryan Tower, a 40-story downtown Dallas property with over a million square feet that it purchased last year. The company has pledged $10 million to upgrade the building and plans to renovate the ground floor, second floor, elevator cabs, and site as part of an historic adaptive reuse project. Upon completion in August 2024, 425 residential units are expected to be added.
This is not Woods Capital’s first foray into transforming office buildings into hotels or multifamily communities – they recently turned around Santander Tower by adding 64 luxury hotel rooms and 220 residential units while also planning on transforming Comerica Bank Tower into a mixed-use development featuring 150 hotel rooms and 230 residential units.
