Irvine Office Building Sold for $42M to Southern California Investor

CBRE successfully negotiated the sale of 2600 Michelson Dr., a 16-story office building in Irvine, for $42 million to a private investor based in Southern California. The team from CBRE Investment Management, consisting of Anthony DeLorenzo, Todd Tydlaska, Sean Sullivan, Sammy Cemo, Bryan Johnson and Grant Goldman represented the company.

Tydlaska commented on the transaction saying “We were honored to handle this sale facilitated by lenders and are pleased that we found a buyer who recognizes the value of its location and quality. Historically outperforming other properties in terms of occupancy rates within Orange County’s Greater Airport submarket area is just one example why this property stands out. The new owner plans to continue this trend.”

Situated on 4.6 acres within Orange County’s Greater Airport submarket area is where you’ll find this impressive office building spanning over 310 thousand square feet with an adjacent five-level parking structure providing over one thousand spaces for tenants’ use. Originally built in 1986 but having undergone extensive renovations since then; current tenants include Zillow and Jacobs among others.

In addition to these features already mentioned above there will be even more added convenience later on when Jamboree-Michelson Pedestrian Bridge opens up connecting Park Place retail shops as well as residential units along with hospitality amenities directly with those at nearby property – making it easier than ever before!
