Toro Development Company, also known as TDC, has recently begun construction on Medley – a 43-acre mixed-use community in Johns Creek with an estimated cost of $560 million. The grand opening for this project is expected to take place on October 29th, 2026.
In November of 2024, TDC secured financing for the project which includes an equity investment from Ascentris and a $158 million construction loan from Banco Inbursa specifically for the first phase.
Situated at the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Johns Creek Parkway, Medley will feature various amenities such as retail stores, restaurants and entertainment venues spanning over 150,000 square feet. Additionally there will be a boutique hotel with approximately175 rooms available to guests. The development will also include office space covering110 ,000 square feet along with750 multifamily residences and133 townhomes constructed by Empire Communities. A Plaza measuring25 ,000 square feet is also planned within this community.
To prepare the site for groundbreaking,TDC has already demolished a350 ,000-square-foot office building while securing partnerships with more than25 brands that are set to open their doors at Medley upon its completion.Among these retailers are popular names such as Sephora,a neighborhood grocer,and High Country Outfitters.
