BSR Real Estate Investment Trust (BSR) has recently completed the acquisition of The Venue Craig Ranch Apartments in McKinney for a total purchase price of $61 million. This Class “A” multifamily community was built in 2017 and consists of 277 apartment units, offering one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans. Its amenities include attached garages, a spacious business center, swimming pool, and fitness center.
The funding for this acquisition will come from BSR’s revolving credit facility. In order to reduce the outstanding balance by 2025, the REIT plans to sell approximately $60 million worth of assets.
